Fearless was successful not only in the United States, having six platinum-certified songs. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story & the hit song You Belong with Me were the most important reasons. It also performed well all over the world. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago was a continuation of her earlier success, and catapulted Swift into the spotlight. With her subsequent three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017), her popularity increased and she became part of a world of pop music where it was clear that she belonged. When she reduced her sound to the stripped-down versions of 2020, folklore, and Evermore but she was still on top. This position was maintained with the re-recordings she had made from her earlier catalog, as well as Midnights which was her chart-topping synth heavy 2022 album.
