Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the America's sweetheart when she was crowned American Idol in the first season. The victory not only propelled her to stardom and acclaim, but it also earned her a multi-album recording contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. Since then, she's recorded numerous studio albums, three of which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just fell short of the top spot. She is among the most popular artists who made it through American Idol. She tried her hand at success with various themes and musical styles, often writing her own songs. Because of her distinctiveness and talent as a singer and songwriter, she received praise from the media and received a number of important award. One of her most memorable achievements is that she won the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her career in music, she has been featured in movies and television shows. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in numerous charitable organisations.
