Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born in South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Both her parents are both English. She went to The Brit School when she was 14. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She appeared on stage in numerous productions during her time at school like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe made her debut motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Her popularity led her to play Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the role as Bambi on The ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in series two and three. Madekwe also starred as the title character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes of the series' first two seasons as a regular. However, in May 2013, the announcement was made that she would quit the show due to her guest appearance on the first episode of the series' third season. Between 2014 and 2016she appeared in Salem as Tituba. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he has also appeared alongside Madekwe in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty as well her older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's sports brothers played baseball during summers as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was never able to walk. She was a dancer. At just 2 1/2 years old, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance following this. When she was in high school, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip-hop. In addition, she won the top awards for soloists in every important dance competitions including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
